Wear your festival jewel with pride at Craft or Chapter meetings
The Provincial Grand Master takes great pleasure in recognising the generous contributions of individual members through the presentation of Festival Jewels to all qualifying brethren.
These distinctive items may be worn with pride at both Surrey Craft Lodge and Royal Arch Chapter Meetings.
To complement each Jewel, members will also receive a specially designed Festival Lapel Pin, with further details provided below.
In addition, both Lodges and Royal Arch Chapters will be presented with special commemorative awards, which they may prominently display during their respective meetings.
The Festival Jewel
Become a Steward* of the Surrey 2030 Festival by donating, or promising to donate, a minimum of £450 as a one-off payment or £7.50 per month over the course of the five year period of the festival appeal.
Once you have made the appropriate donation (or promise to donate) you will be qualified to receive and wear your Festival Jewel and lapel pin.
The Provincial Grand Master, however, fully understands that it may not be within the means of every Brother, to qualify for a festival jewel and greatly appreciates all donations made.
Therefore, if you are unable to meet the minimum requirement to qualify for a festival jewel, please speak to your Lodge Charity Steward.

The Lapel Pin
Branding for the Surrey 2030 Festival builds on the Provincial brand by using common elements but also develops its own unique style.
The chain link demonstrating the link between Craft and Royal Arch is transformed into a specifically ‘Surrey’ emblem – the oak leaf cluster.
The oak leaf cluster and acorn are specific to Surrey, and both are used in many of the county’s official emblems.
The county has the distinction of substantial woodland areas which provided thousands of oak trees for naval shipbuilding in the Middle Ages.
For the Surrey 2030 Festival, this has been redrawn and is therefore unique to us. The blue and crimson leaves denote the linking of Craft and Royal Arch.
The gold acorn symbolises growth from acorn to oak.
In support of the 2030 Festival Jewel, the Surrey Festival oak leaf cluster and acorn are used as the design for the Lapel Pin, which can be worn with pride at any time.
