Surrey 2030 Festival

Regular Giving

Around 120 people came together at Chobham Rugby Club for the Surrey Provincial Summer BBQ, raising more than £3,000 for the Surrey 2030 Festival.

Organised by Windlesham Dawn Lodge, the event welcomed brethren from across the Province, together with wives, partners, children, friends and non-Masons. The mixture of guests created a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere and provided a wonderful opportunity to meet new people and catch up with old friends.

After the barbecue had been served, a live band took to the stage and provided the soundtrack for the remainder of the evening. With plenty of conversation, laughter and entertainment, Chobham Rugby Club proved to be an excellent setting for a summer social.

The evening also featured a raffle with three exceptional prizes:

A seven-night stay on the Dorset coast

A clay-shooting lesson for two at Bisley Shooting Ground

A day’s fly-fishing on the Duke of Wellington’s private estate on the River Loddon

Congratulations go to all three lucky winners.

Most importantly, the event brought together Masons, their families and friends in the true spirit of the Festival while raising a fantastic sum for the Surrey 2030 Festival.

A huge thank you goes to everyone who attended, donated prizes, supported the raffle, helped behind the scenes or contributed to making the evening such a success.

Windlesham Dawn Lodge looks forward to welcoming everyone back for another Surrey Provincial Summer BBQ next year.
