Surrey Freemasons have teamed up with Surrey-based microbrewery Hamhaugh Hops to create four distinctive craft ales in support of the Surrey 2030 Festival.

Working with Simon Hall, owner and brewer at Hamhaugh Hops, Surrey Freemasons Nick Dyer, Paul Day, Colin Campbell and Marcus O’Shea have developed four very different ales, each with its own suitably Masonic name.

Tylers Tap

Tyler’s Tap is a traditional best bitter, while Festival Brew is an Irish stout brewed with a small amount of chocolate malt to give it a distinctive chocolate finish.

All Seeing Ale

All Seeing Ale is a hazy IPA bursting with flavours of grapefruit, mango and lime, together with a subtle hint of blueberry. Brewed with wheat malt to create its cloudy appearance, its carefully selected hops also give the beer a wonderfully fruity aroma.

So Mote it Beer

Completing the range is So Mote It Beer, an American-style pale ale with beautifully balanced tropical fruit flavours.

The ales are available as a mixed four-pack or individually in multiples of four. For larger occasions, it is even possible to order a firkin, containing approximately 70 pints.

Most importantly, 50p from every can sold will be donated to the Surrey 2030 Festival, making this a very enjoyable way to support the Province’s fundraising efforts.

The range would make an excellent addition to festive boards and Masonic centre bars, as well as providing something a little different for raffles, gifts and prizes.

Hamhaugh Hops is an independent microbrewery situated beside the River Thames in Surrey. After more than a decade of home-brewing experience, the brewery began selling its beers commercially in March 2025 and has continued to grow its range of locally produced craft ales.
